1. Check the outside of the semi-trailer. If there are obvious scratches, the interior should be painted in time. Because the function of paint is not only beautiful, its more important function is to prevent rust.

Second, check the semi-trailer oil. Before the cold snap comes, you should pay attention to whether the engine oil used in your car is universal for all four seasons. If it is not, you should replace it with an oil more suitable for winter use. In addition, by the way, check whether the transmission, transfer case, differential, steering gear and other parts are properly oiled, because the cold weather will aggravate the wear of these parts.

3. Check the semi-trailer antifreeze. Under normal circumstances, it is changed every two years, but the consumption of the liquid level in summer will be relatively large. Many car owners will directly mix clean water into the antifreeze when they find that the antifreeze is insufficient. At this time, the concentration of antifreeze will naturally decrease. Before winter, it is best to go to the 4S shop to do a freezing point test to determine whether the antifreeze needs to be replaced.

4. Check the braking system of the semi-trailer. Pay attention to whether the amount of brake fluid is sufficient and whether the quality has deteriorated. If necessary, it should be filled or replaced in time. Pay attention to whether the brake is weakened, deviation, the pedaling force of the brake pedal and the position of the wheel lock point when braking. Clean up the pipeline parts of the entire brake system if necessary.

5. Check the semi-trailer battery. Starting a car for thousands of miles is the first step, and no matter what car you want to start without the battery, it is obviously impossible, so the maintenance of the battery before winter becomes very important. Generally, the normal battery life is 2-3 years. The way to check the battery is to first check whether the large wire connector of the battery is loose or corroded. If it is loose, use an adjustable wrench to tighten it. Also check the liquid level of the semi-trailer battery electrolyte. If the liquid level is lower than the mark line, you need to add supplementary water dedicated to the electrolyte.

6. Check the semi-trailer air conditioner. The air conditioning and heating system will also have some minor problems after a long rest. It is best to check the semi-trailer in your spare time, and repair any defects in time. When the car is hot, test whether there is hot air, whether there is any abnormal noise in the operation of the fan, and whether there is water leakage in the room. If there is no hot air, it may be because the heating has not been used for a long time, resulting in the long-term inactivity of the circulating water in the heating water pipes, and the condensation blocks the circulation pipes. If there is no improvement after driving for a while, it is necessary to go to the service station for repairs.

7. Check whether there are sundries in the air inlet of the semi-trailer or the air intake grille and electronic fan. The dust can be blown away with compressed air, and the above-mentioned parts can be washed from the inside to the outside with a water gun when the engine is cooling.

8. Check whether the tires of the semi-trailer have obvious trauma, scratches and whether the tire pressure is standardized. In autumn and winter, rubber becomes hard and relatively brittle, which not only reduces the coefficient of friction, but is also more prone to air leakage and tire tying. Pay attention to clean up the impurities in the tread pattern frequently, try to avoid using tires that have been repaired more than once, and replace tires with larger wear and different brands and different patterns.

Nine, check the semi-trailer wiper blade. After a summer of hard work, the aging of rubber products such as wiper blades has been very serious. In order to ensure driving safety, it is best to replace the wiper blades once a year. Do not consciously increase the length and width of the wiper blades when changing the wiper blades, because the original factory has made the best design for the cleaning field of view, and lengthening the length of the wiper blades without permission can increase the visible range of the window vision, but relatively The ground will also increase the burden on electrical equipment such as wiper motors.

10. Check the semi-trailer glass water. The winter glass water is also replaced along with the wiper blades. In another month or so, the nighttime temperature in Beijing will drop to zero. If the glass water storage tank is filled with tap water, the tank will freeze and crack if it freezes. In fact, winter glass water can also be prepared by itself, as long as an appropriate proportion of alcohol is added to the clear water, and then used together with cleaning spirit, it has both antifreeze and cleaning functions.
