There are 4 ways to clean the oil tank semi trailer, namely dry cleaning, wet washing, steam washing and chemical washing.

1. Safety requirements and procedures for dry cleaning

1. Remove the oil stored in the tank;

4. Use the can washer to spray water to wash the system and equipment;

5, pickling rust removal 90~120min;

6. Remove the acid solution and rinse with clean water for about 20min, so that the washing solution is neutral.

7, remove sewage, do 2 passivation treatment, the first time about 3min, the second more than 8min;

8. 5~10min after passivation, rinse with 290Kpa water for 8~12min;

Safety precautions for tank cleaning methods

Tank cleaning is a dangerous operation in the tank, because the oil steam is not only flammable, explosive, but also toxic. Therefore, the following safety regulations must be strictly observed when washing cans.

1. Open the manhole, check the oil quality at the bottom of the tank by layers, and determine the oil exclusion and treatment plan.

2. Canning personnel must wear work clothes, working shoes, working gloves and gas masks. Also bring signal rope and safety belt, outside the tank special person monitoring, into the tank time should not be too long, generally 15~20min is appropriate, shift work. Outside, there should be medical personnel on duty at the scene

3. Broom or wood tools are used to clean residual oil and sewage. Iron and steel tools are strictly prohibited.

4. Effective ventilation must be adopted.

5, the steam method ---- should start to close all holes in the tank cover, until the temperature reaches 60~70℃, then open the cover to continue steaming, so that the residual oil in the tank is completely dissolved.
