Oil tank semi-trailer refers to the special vehicle for loading gasoline, diesel, kerosene, lubricating oil and other liquid oil, it is the most used in liquid tank truck vehicles. According to its function, it is divided into two kinds: oil truck and fuel truck. Oil truck is used for transporting liquid oil, which is mainly composed of oil tank, filling port, oil discharge valve, manhole cover, oil hose, grounding chain, etc. In addition to the function of the oil truck, the refueling vehicle also has the function of the mobile pump station, and it also adds the pump system, metering system and control device.

1. The tank. The tank body of the tank car is mostly made of ordinary mild steel plate welded. The two ends of the tank are sealed by the head, and the middle is an oval section tank. The tank body is provided with a partition board, longitudinal wave plate, transverse wave plate and the corresponding support. The upper part of the tank is provided with a protective frame, manhole cover mouth, overflow pipe, etc. The lower part of the tank body is welded with tank support and bottom seat holes.

2. Manhole cover. The manhole cover is installed in the upper part of the tank body, mostly fixed by bolts. The manhole cover is provided with a filling hole cover, a breathing valve, a connecting gas pipe joint, a refueling pipe, a filling alarm and an observation hole, etc. Usually, the manhole cover is not opened, only when the internal maintenance can remove the fastening bolts, remove the manhole cover, easy for workers to access the maintenance or cleaning.

3. Bottom valve. The bottom valve is the control valve of the liquid discharge or suction tank. The bottom of each single chamber of the tank body is provided with a bottom valve. The structure of the bottom valve is related to the type of tank and the goods to be shipped. The operating form of the bottom valve is manual, pneumatic, electric and hydraulic. The bottom of the tank is also provided with a sedimentation tank and a blowdown valve, which can be opened irregularly according to the situation to discharge the dirt deposited in the sedimentation tank.

4. Electrostatic elimination devices and measures. In order to eliminate the static electricity produced by the tank car in the process of refueling, discharging and transporting oil, prevent the static electricity from causing fire, and ensure the safety of transportation, the tank car is equipped with a variety of static electricity elimination devices. 5. Oil pump. The oil pump of the refueling truck generally adopts self-priming eddy current pump and circular arc gear pump with lower pressure and larger flow. The power of the oil pump generally comes from the automobile engine, and the power output device and the driving shaft drive the gear pump to rotate, and the oil is inhaled or discharged from the liquid tank.

6. Hose winch. The hose winch is a mechanism specially used to wind the rubber tubing on the oil tanker. The capstan assembly consists of a large and small bearing seat and a small rotating shaft tube, a large rotating shaft tube, a reel, a refueling tube, a sealing ring and a capstan lock device.

7. Water filter. The function of water filter is to separate and filter the water, glue and impurities in the oil, to ensure that the oil is highly clean.
