Mistakes in tanker maintenance


Myth 1: Always over-inflate your tires. Many drivers like to adjust the tire pressure to a high level, thinking that it can save fuel and overload. Misunderstanding 2: Manufacturers of diesel tank trucks always fill up the engine oil very much. Many drivers are always worried that the engine oil is not enough, so they always fill it up, but many people do not know that too much oil will cause Increasing the rotational resistance of the crank connecting rod mechanism will also increase the amount of oil splashed on the cylinder wall. Too much oil will also increase the carbon deposition in the combustion chamber and reduce the engine power, thereby affecting emissions. In fact, the amount of engine oil should not be too large, but it should not be too little. Generally, it should be added according to the scale on the oil scale. It is best that the oil level is above the middle of the scale.


Misunderstanding 3: Fix the bolts of the vehicle too tightly. Generally, the bolts of various parts of the tank truck have corresponding regulations according to their diameters, pitches and uses. The bolts will loosen when the specified torque is reached, and the bolts will be stretched beyond the tightened torque. When tightening the bolts, we must know the tightening torque of the bolts.


Misunderstanding 4: Diesel tanker manufacturers always think that the belt of the attachment is tighter than loose. Many owners of tanker think that increasing the tension of the attachment belt can improve the cooling effect of the compressor and the power generation of the generator. In fact, this kind of The approach is wrong. The accessory belt should maintain a proper tension, because if the belt is too tight, the load on the bearing will be too large, which will shorten the service life of the parts and cause the belt to break, which will eventually affect the normal use of the vehicle.
